Normally posters of India show photographs of exotic places and beaches of India. In this poster I’ve portrayed India through its graffiti and paintings done on walls, trucks, buses and auto rickshaws.

This is a poster i made to promote the 3 day exhibition we had to display the work we all did in our poster design course.

This logo is showing the De-evolution of man with respect to age. It is showing the empowerment of the senior citizens. This is a logo i had designed for one of my courses called Art and Design for Grands. I had done up a setting of a hypothetical store designed exclusively for the senior citizens. Through this logo, i have tried to make the senior citizens feel empowered and energised about themselves. The colours are done according to the department wise colour coding of the store. Green is the medication section and i gave that colour to the eldest figure. Purple is the senior specific products section and so i have given that colour to the figure using the walking stick and yellow is the groceries section and i have given that colour to the active figure as it is a warm colour and groceries shopping requires the maximum amount of energy out of all.

This is a poster i designed for a deaf and blind person. this poster is basically an advertisement for a new flavour of an ice cream called ‘Lemon min Blaster’. Here the text is written in braille for them to feel the text written and for them to understand what the poster says. The final product is also going to be given a lime essence so they can understand the product better through the sense of smell.

This is a logo i designed for my friends organisation called ‘Techvillage’.  His organisation comes up with innovative technological ideas which would help people in rural areas improve their lives. I have shown a Wheat Crop to represent the prime source of income for people in rural areas since the major occupation in rural areas is agriculture. The roots i have shown as wires on a Motherboard which represents their technology and how their technology helps in holding the source of income of rural people strong just like the way the roots of a plant, hold it strong into the soil!

This is the jacket of a book that i had designed based on an article i read. the article was about how masks were used very extensively in Venice. They were so widely used that it had become a part of their cultural identity. one part of the article had mentioned how these masks were the cause for prostitution, gambling and women wearing exposing clothes in public. this is the part of the article that i have tried to show in the book jacket.

In this image, ive shown the crossing of abbey road from another angle. each patch has one beatle’s name on it. The green Pedestrian crossing sign is green and is kind of suggesting all the beatles to cross the street.

in this poster, im trying to show how i like the music scene in bangalore. the words in kannada are actually songs that i listen to by the bands Led Zeppelin and The Who. The guitarist is Jimmy Page. I worship him!

Through this poster, im showing the words ‘Inner Peace’ in a very graphic way. im trying to convey that there are many complications and chaotic situations around us all the time but we should remain peaceful from inside.

  11. Hey there exceptional website! Does running a blog such as this take a lot of work? I’ve very little understanding of computer programming but I was hoping to start my own blog in the near future. Anyways, if you have any ideas or tips for new blog owners please share. I understand this is off subject however I just had to ask. Thanks a lot!

Hmm it seems like your blog ate my first comment (it was extremely long) so I guess I’ll just sum it up what I had written and say, I’m thoroughly enjoying your blog. I too am an aspiring blog writer but I’m still new to everything. Do you have any points for newbie blog writers? I’d certainly appreciate it.

      Hey!
Im really glad to know that youve been following my blog and that you’ve been enjoying it.
I am just a visual artist and a musician and i simply put up my work to sort of EXPRESS!!
if you’ve just started blogging, i think it should be your outlet to vent out your opinions.
for example, if you have a blog about music, then you could just write a few lines about how you found a particular song funny, or a particular song very touching or mind blowing.
If you are an artist, then you should make artwork to communicate.
The whole idea of blogging is to express. A blog in a way i feel is an extension of yourself!!
